Chili in the Cedars

Seven members made it out to Goldstream Provincial Park on Thursday, September 10th for our second Mastermind for Biz cookout — Alison, Debbie, Chona, Jordan, Nancy, Usman, and Sankar. That's up from five at our first cookout back in June.

The weather was kinder this time around. It was a little overcast but fairly warm, and once the fire got going it kept everyone comfortable.

Alison was back on cooking duty, this time with a pot of her homemade chili simmered in a cast iron Dutch oven right over the fire — and it was really, really good. It was also Usman's first-ever chili experience, and it's hard to think of a better place to try it for the first time.

Good food, a warm fire, and time with members outside the boardroom. Two cookouts in, it's quickly becoming a tradition.
